The Campos Family
Welcome to our family farm in scenic Embudo,
New Mexico. Generations of our family
have been nurturing the land in the lush
Rio Grande Valley.

As knowledge of the land has passed from
one generation to the next, so too have
passed the blessings of delicious foods
from the earth to our table and to the table
of others. For over half a century, our family
has grown and sold fruits and vegetables in
in the area. Early sales, were at the small
highway farm stand, these days you can
find us at the Taos and/or Pojoaque
Farmers' Markets on any given Wednesday
& Saturday through the growing season.

At Comida de Campos, we have embraced farming as an extension of who we are. Although not certified organic, the family maintains a chemical free environment, especially since we produce mainly for ourselves, and our guests. Our vegetable crops typically include: beans, chile, eggplant, various herbs, potatoes, asparagus, corn, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, chile, broccoli,.....or whatever else we might be inspired to grow that Spring. Our fruit crops include: raspberries, blackberries, peaches, quince, nectarines and more.....

Whether you're interested in cooking, gardening, or just relaxing, we invite you to come and stay a while. Take part in one of our culinary, clay or weaving classes for adults and children alike.....or plan your next meeting, reunion or social event. Facilities and on-site catering available....call for more information.

Comida de Campos is a place where fresh produce, authentic New Mexican recipes, hands-on cooking and timeless hospitality will delight your senses and warm your heart.
